Our distinguished Queen mother, an Administrator, education icon, mentor and motivator. ELDER MRS. VICTORIA NDIDI ALIBA NDUKA popularly called Vicky was born on 16th April, 1956 at Okwuzi town into the kingship family of late Chief (Nze( Dandison Nwaeshiegwu Aliba and Mrs. Esther Aliba of Umu-Okronkwo kindred Okwuzi - Egbrma in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA, Rivers State.
EARLY LIFE: Vicky grew up under the care of her late grandmother, Mama Comfort Aliba in her native home town, Okwuzi. The tutelage of her grandmother helped to build the person and the personality of the woman Elder Mrs. Victoria; she was a devoted Christian and a disciplinarian.
EDUCATION: Vicky began her early education at State primary school, Okwuzi in 1970. She passed her First School Leaving Certificate in 1975, creditable with Good grades. Thereafter she proceeded to Government Secondary School, joinkrama in 1975-1989, where she obtained her WASE in flying colours.
In 1989 she enrolled into the training course propagating centre, Green River project and obtained the certificate of improved Agronomic practice of different crops in 1991. With a strong desire to improve her academic qualification, she gained admission into Federal College of Education (Technical) in 1993-1995 and finally B.ED (Environmental Education) in institute of Education, University of Calabar, 2004.
WORKING EXPERIENCE: Upon the completion of her secondary education, she gained employment with the Rivers State Ministry Education and was posted to Community Girls Secondary School, Aggah as ancillary teacher where she worked diligently from 1982-1986.
In December 1997, she was employed by Rivers State Universal Basic Education as a classroom teacher; she served immensely and was known as a hard working teacher by
her colleagues until 2012 when she was transferred to Education Board office and there she served until her demise in January 2018.
An Honest, truthful, duteous, exemplary woman. Indeed she was an embodiment of wisdom, experience and knowledge. She was an Administrator compulsively passionate about her superior and juniors in the office, and was endeared by all and sundry. A very intelligent, charismatic, kind and
Eloquent Administrator with flair to assist her students and anybody that requires her assistance in the office. She never discriminated; indeed a RARE BREED.
SOCIAL LIFE: Victoria was a peace maker, indeed a bridge builder between the young, old and the elites in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers state. She was a role mode an inspirator of no mean order, silent dogged fighter for Ogba/Egbema community, and was passionate about the peace, unity and progr church and the entire community as a whole.
Due to her leadership quality, she was the admin secretaryto UNCPpolitical party from 1994-1996 and the general secretary to Egbema women social club, Omoku chapter for some years. She was also the president of Diamond Ladies club of Nigeria for so many years.
CHRISTIAN LIFE: Like her potential forebear mama Comfort who was one of the Egbema land. Vicky, with a deep-rooted foundation of mama comfort's fame in Baptist Church, she was a devoted Christian, baptized and confirmed in Winners (Living Faith Church). She worked assiduously as a church worker. She had the fear of God and believed strongly in the word of God
Due to her commitment in kingdom services, she became-an elder in the house of God; Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Obosi branch Omoku, Rivers state.
MARITAL/FAMILY LIFE: Late Elder Mrs. Victoria Ndidi Aliba Nduka got married to her husband, Elder Valentine Nduka and the marriage was blessed with Precious children. Her husband has been a pillar and a great support to all her achievements in life.
She was a reliable, trusted, active and committed wife and mother to her husband, children and both relatives. Vicky was a back bone to both Aliba family and Nduka's family, she treated everyone that had come her way with value and respect.
LAST DAYS (DEATH): Above all, the fisher-folk Christian, teacher, educationist, motivator, agriculturist, builder, truth advocate, irreplaceable wife, queen mother, peace maker, and per excellence, committed her last days on earth to the service of God and man through giving back to God and Humanity.
EIder Victoria Nduka died on Friday, 5th January, 2018 at Meridian hospital, D/Line Portarcourt after a briefillness.
May her gentle soul rest in the bosom of the Lord. Amen!
